Samsung Eternity

The Samsung Eternity touchscreen phone was named for the designers’ intention that users would appreciate this personal communication device forever. It comes fully loaded with fun features that encourage cell phone users to step past the boundaries of just making phone calls. It is time to be entertained by your phone.

Current touch screen phones struggle to include a good built-in camera (indeed the iPhone only has a 2MP camera and can only record video if a special application is bought for it) but the Samsung Eternity manages this by including a satisfactory 3MP camera with digital zoom, brightness control and the ability to shoot up to an hour of video.

The QWERTY keyboard is a little different than most. The interactive touch screen offers you the QWERTY keyboard regardless of whether the phone is in landscape mode (as in being held in a horizontal position) or in portrait mode (as in being held in the vertical position.) You can also orientate the display from landscape mode to portrait mode and vice versa without interrupting your current activity. The touch screen on the Eternity also features something called Haptic Feedback, which is essentially a system designed to make typing touch screen phones more user friendly, and more like ‘real’ buttons. Haptic feedback on samsung Eternity means that a user will receive a slight vibration as feedback when a virtual button has been pressed.

If you have yet to experience the AT&T Mobile Music feature, this is where the 3G technology really shines. AT&T Mobile Music gives you the opportunity to download and play music just like an Mp3 player. This feature is fantastic for both teens and adults. Anyone who is really into music can buy this phone for this feature alone. AT&T Mobile Music allows the option to download ring tones on the fly for complete personalization. The microSD slot enables you to expand the storage capabilities of Samsung Eternity for your everyday entertainment demands. As such, you need not worry much about running out of memory.

While the Samsung Eternity is loaded with technologically advanced features, it is quite user friendly. Of course, while you’re having fun with all the entertainment features built right into the fun, don’t forget that you have access to all the necessary tools for business as well. With 3G internet connectivity, bluetooth, USB and coupled with robust functions including voicemail, multi media messaging and personal memo book, staying organized and connected is a breeze.

Loose Diamonds Basics

Author:  //  Category: My Pink Diamonds

About Loose DiamondsThe term loose diamonds is used to refer to diamonds that have been polished, but have not been set in jewelry. Loose diamonds come in many shapes, sizes, and qualities. Increasingly, people shopping for diamond engagement rings, and diamond rings for other occasions, purchase the diamond separately from the setting, or the ring.Purchasing Loose DiamondsThe reason why people choose to shop separately for loose diamonds with the intention of setting them in jewelry, is primarily price. Set diamond jewelry often comes with a big markup, and sometimes, the quality of the diamond is not as good as it could be. Shopping online for loose diamonds enables buyers to seek out the best possible stones at the best possible price. The internet is a good medium for the purchase of loose diamonds. If the diamonds are purchased from a reputable online dealer there is no reason to actually view the product with one’s own eyes. Shipping costs are also minimal (due to the weight). Once loose diamonds are purchased, they can be taken to a reputable jeweler in order to create a setting. Diamond engagement rings, as well as other types of jewelry, are harder to purchase online. Diamond rings need to be fitted especially for the wearer. The same goes for diamond stud earrings. Purchasing loose diamonds and then getting the setting separately also provides a sense of satisfaction from being more in control of the purchasing process, and it also inspires creativity.Loose Diamonds 4 Cs and ShapesWhen purchasing loose diamonds several aspects need to be taken into consideration. The first four are known as the four Cs of diamonds: Carat, cut, clarity, and weight. Carat refers to the weight of the diamond, whereby one carat equals 0.2 of a gram. Diamonds come in many sizes, and the size of the diamond is no guarantee for its quality or brightness. Cut is more readily associated with the quality or loose diamonds. Cut refers to the quality of workmanship that is put into the many facets (or faces) of the diamond. A better cut means more symmetry and more brilliance. Color refers to the natural color of the diamond. Diamonds are either various degrees of colorless, or else of a specific color, such as yellow, pink, and green. Loose diamonds often comes with imperfections or inclusions, and these affect the diamonds’ brilliance. This parameter is known as clarity. Then there is the shape. Loose diamonds are cut into all kinds of shapes. Examples include princess shaped diamonds, round shaped diamonds, marquise shaped diamonds, emerald shaped diamonds, oval shaped diamonds, and pear shaped diamonds.

Love, Diamonds & Ch’i: A Feng Shui Master’s Guide To Choosing That Special Ring

Author:  //  Category: My Pink Diamonds

Getting engaged? Whether it’s your first time down the aisle or your third, the bride is blushing and the diamonds should be sparkling.

Here’s the Feng Shui Master’s 5 Factor Guide to choosing just the right ring for your one and only true love.

#1 SHAPE

Looking with a  Feng Shui Eye, diamond shapes come in three categories:

Not So Great

Pretty good

Great Feng Shui

*The Bagua, the Feng Shui energy map that represents all facets of life is an octagon. Shouldn’t your ring reflect all of life, too?

#2 COLOR

In Feng Shui we use color energy to lift and enhance different aspects of life.

Feng Shui Love Power Colors:

The standard diamond is white and perfectly suited to bringing “future” energy to your ring. After all, isn’t that what an engagement ring is for? If you do want to add other color energies, use other gemstones, like red rubies for passion ch’i, to achieve the balance and intention in your heart. (There are natural red or pink diamonds but quality ones are very rare and very expensive.)

#3 STORY

The energy of the past carries into the present and on into the future.

A new diamond is like the proverbial blank slate; ready to absorb and hold your love ch’i. It’s when you’re looking at heirloom or estate pieces that “predecessor ch’i” becomes a factor. Just like the new ring will be imprinted with your energy, older pieces may carry the energy of past owners and past events. (There really are “cursed” diamonds.)

Family Heirlooms

Ask for the true stories and check into your true feelings. Did Grandma and Grandpa really have a wonderful marriage? If the answer is yes and you had a wonderful relationship with Grandma then go ahead. You can add another layer of love ch’i to an already blessed stone.

If the true story is not about love or you didn’t get along with her, ask yourself why you’d want to wear a ring weighted with dark feelings.

Estate Jewelry

Not all pre-owned pieces carry negative energy. Some are neutral or even positive. But unless you’re a good energy reader it would be wise to ask for help from a friend who is. You’ll have enough to deal with in married life without adding someone else’s “karma.”

(Disclosure: I bought Debra antique diamonds for both our 10th and 20th anniversaries. Of course, I took a deep look into the stones’ ch’i before deciding.)

#4 BALANCE

To choose wisely, keep logic and desire in balance.

Size, cut and clarity all impact price. Too high a price can put stress ch’i into the ring and into the relationship. Budget well, buy smart and that simple half carat will outshine all others.

Of course, what will really make it shine is Feng Shui Factor #5 –

#5 LOVE

Love really does make the world go round.

Do you believe in magic? Do you believe in love? No matter how big or how small, a diamond ring chosen in love and given in love can be a link between lovers; a love link will only grow as life happens.

Remember, in life and love it’s not really the shape or color or age or cost of your ring that has power. It’s your desire for one another and your hearts’ commitment to sharing the rest of your lives together.

Suncrest Diamonds Offers HPHT* Pink Diamonds to Retailers

Author:  //  Category: My Pink Diamonds

Suncrest Diamonds, creators of the first collection of beautiful yellow “HPHT” diamonds, is expanding their lines of these *High Pressure, High Temperature gems to include a new collection of pink diamonds.  In their release at the JCK 2009 Las Vegas Show, they announced their intention to make the new pink HPHT diamonds available to retailers nationwide. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has now designated the proprietary HPHT processes used by the company as “Suncrest”.  In this process, Suncrest selects naturally-mined diamonds and then places the diamonds under tremendous pressure and heat to bring out each gem’s color and natural beauty.  This can take an ordinary or less-than-jewel-worthy diamond and make it stunning and nearly perfect.  Some argue that, because the process is not done naturally over millions of years, that the diamonds have less value.  The proof, however, might be in the sparkle.  Suncrest pink diamonds get an additional treatment that ensures that the color will not fade over time.  Lab certification, from GIA or another recognized gem lab, can accompany each of Suncrest’s new pink diamonds, documenting the stones natural origin and processing.“We are very pleased that retailers can now offer beautiful, high-end pink and yellow HPHT diamonds to their discriminating diamond clientele at a price suited for today’s economy,” assured Sonny Pope, General Manager of Suncrest Diamonds.  “Our proprietary processes enable retailers and the diamond trade to dramatically upgrade existing natural diamond inventories with breathtaking results.”  Looking through a jeweler’s loupe, you would see nothing unusual about these beautiful, nearly-ideal diamonds—except that each diamond is inscribed with the “Suncrest Pink” designation. Because these are real diamonds that are enhanced mechanically, they are less costly than diamonds that are nearly-perfect after millions of years in the earth.  Most diamonds that are collected are not gem-quality, and go for industrial usage.  The fewer gems that are gem-quality are, indeed, very expensive.  Suncrest has developed a procedure that combines the natural and the mechanical to create a gem-quality diamond every time.  With a global economic recession and growing awareness about the origin of most diamonds, Suncrest might be exactly in the right place at the right time with this cutting-edge technology.
